PIIN BELIEVES YOU HAVE POWER

Colorful Backgrounds EXPO (Ex-Incarcerated People Organizing) is a program chartered by Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network and West End P.O.W.E.R. to train formerly incarcerated people to organize for change in the criminal justice system and build their employment prospects with a 12-week class. Come build your job readiness skills, learn about your voting rights, begin training in community organizing, and more! A certificate will be provided completion to participants.

The program has two parts:

1. A weekly meeting for cohort participants enrolled in the 12-week program.
2. A monthly meeting open to the public. These gatherings build community, provide vital information on available resources, feature guest speakers, as well as opportunities for much-needed peer support and connections between the formerly incarcerated, their families, and broader communities to advocate for change. Congregations are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings!

Registration is now open for our next program. Register today. Spread the word. CLICK HERE for the brochure – easy to download or print — and share with your congregations, colleagues, and friends.
