PIIN Participates in Pan Methodist March to Unite Pittsburgh

On Saturday, September 7, PIIN Executive Director Jamaal Craig (member of Wesley Center AME Zion Church) participated in the Pan Methodist March to Unite Pittsburgh. The event was a call for a public witness of unity across racial, social, religious, political and other lines that are dividing communities.

The Pan Methodist Council of Western Pennsylvania, which includes representatives from the United Methodist Church and as well as the African Methodist Episcopal, African Methodist Episcopal Zion and Christian Methodist Episcopal denominations, “designed the event with hope of quenching a great thirst for unity seen in various communities,” said Pittsburgh District Superintendent Dawn L. Hand, one of the organizers.
