PIIN Book Study

May 30, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

The breach in racial relationships in America is widening. We the people of faith that comprise The Pennsylvania Interfaith Impact Network (PIIN) invite you to join us in a journey of knowing that we believe will mend the breach.

On Monday February 21, 2022, at 6:00 pm, you are invited to embark on a Zoom-based book study to foster a deeper understanding among people of different races, ethnic backgrounds, faiths, gender identities and sexual orientation. The inaugural book will be The New York Times Bestseller Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson, which we will discuss across several meetings every two weeks with each session lasting 90 minutes. Subsequent books will be chosen in collaboration with participants.

Pre-registration is required ( After your registration has been received, you will subsequently be sent a zoom link for the study group.

We anticipate this experience will evoke some raw emotions. As such, our first session will be about setting a foundation for caring and respect. Included in the initial session will be a covenanting exercise. We know this work is sacred. Bring your best self to the table.

Many people have been named but never heard. We hope all will be heard by caring hearts!
