PIIN’s 2019 Public Action has been scheduled for 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm Tuesday, October 29 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church at 2001 Wylie Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15219. We expect there to be an attendance 500 PIIN members and supporters who are committed to work for justice and equity in our region, state, and nation. We are also expecting the presence of local, state, and national public officials who are partnering with us on the major issues of the day.

We Invite you to join us!

As you know PIIN is a network of more than 40 congregations and organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania committed to drawing together people of faith to act powerfully on local, regional, and national issues of justice and fairness. Through the processes of community-building, working with politicians and policy makers, direct action, and negotiation, we transform our communities.

PIIN is currently focused on a number of both national and local issues which profoundly affect the lives of many people in our communities. We intend to have public officials, announce their support for these issues at the Public Action on October 29th. The issues include:

  • Criminal Justice Reform
  • Establishing a Countywide Citizens Police Review Board
  • Protection of our Immigrant Families

We hope to see you there!
